Dr. Gopal Saxena is an educationist, institution builder, researcher, and policy contributor with over three decades of leadership in Indian education. He is the Founder of The Gopal K Saxena Foundation and Chairman & Managing Trustee of the Shishya Group of Institutions, which spans schools and higher education institutions.
His work has focused on building institutions rooted in academic excellence, inclusive education, research orientation, and holistic development. Beyond institution building, Dr. Saxena has contributed to public discourse and policy research in education, technology, governance, and emerging digital systems.
He is the author of The Indian Education System – Problems and Solutions and has established research initiatives including the Gopal Saxena Centre for AI Research and the Centre for Policy Research on Cyberspace, focused on areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Quantum Computing, digital ecosystems, and cyber policy.
